Common Uses

It is also a broader glandular tonic that works on the adrenals, gonads, thyroid, and pituitary glands. WARNING: Yohimbe is an MAO inhibitor, so it may be unsafe to take with sedatives, tranquilizers, antihistamines, narcotics, or alcohol. CONSIDERED UNSAFE BY THE FDA.
History
Once used as an aphrodisiac and mild hallucinogen as well as a sacrament for marriage. It has not been greatly research, and its many known hazards make yohimbe an herb to admire from afar.
