Common Uses

A light sedative, woodruff treats nervous tension. It has many other healthful properties, as well, including anodyne, antispasmodic, calmative, diuretic, cardiac, and diaphoretic. It aids digestion and is helpful in treating liver obstructions and hepatitis. Woodruff also reduces inflammation.
